Rusty 2

Nothing like a broken trail. Painstakingly set, it felt good to be back on the track.
Winds were calm today. Snow was still very good, but a little more care was needed above the brush line to stay in the soft stuff. Below the brush line, the snow quality is exquisite. Settled just a little, and faster. Track for approach set up nicely and was superfast on the ride home.

Should I have gone to Turnagain Pass? I'm sure it's great there, but Anchorage front range is pretty good right now, and it's really gratifying to ski my backdoor trail. Is it odd that I find more solitude right above Anchorage than the Pass scene?
